  • Since glass cannot transfer infrared radiation, this radiation cannot escape from the material. As a result, the greenhouse's interior temperature rises.
  • This is the Greenhouse Effect.

Natural Greenhouse effect:

  • The Greenhouse Effect happens naturally.
  • On earth, it has been happening for millions of years.
  • This occurrence made it possible for life to go from the water to the land.
  • Since the earth's temperature stays at an average of 15 °C, this is also the reason life has persisted on the planet.
