Fort Gloster is located in the state of West Bengal in India. It is a tiny town in the West Bengal region, close to Kolkata. The location is about 1,293 km from India’s capital and can accommodate about 18,350 people. The first textile mill in the nation was established in the West Bengal town of Fort Gloster.

Last but not least, a business called Fort Gloster Industries Ltd. was established in 1890 and is based in West Bengal.

Furthermore favorable humid climate, the cotton industry also expanded in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. After Mumbai, Ahmedabad came to be known as the second-largest textile city in India, which is also called the Manchester of India.
