Revision is the key:
Revise everything you have read till now. Earlier prelims was scheduled to be held on 27th June 2021. Hence, every serious aspirant must have prepared the syllabus thoroughly till now. You have read enough. Now, you just need to revise the stuff- NCERT, current affairs booklets, class notes, test solutions. Do not start something completely new now.
Mock tests are the tools:
It is that time of the year. Solve 300-400 MCQs everyday. Use any test series of any coaching available in the market. Solve BYJU'S Exam Prep’s quizzes from the last 1 year , we have quiz on current affairs, Yojana, Kurukshetra as well as static portions like history, polity, geography etc.
Solve past 15 years’ UPSC prelims previous year questions.
Also, solve last 5 years’ papers of CDS, CAPF, NDA, IES etc for the GS part.
Routine- Discipline is the thing you need right now
Now get in a proper routine for the examination. As exam happens early in the morning- 9:30 to 11:30 am, your body must get ready for that. Start waking up at 7 am. Start solving MCQs from 9 am to 12 pm. It will train your mind for exam condition.
Focus on weak areas and keep your strength intact:
Identify your weak areas through revision and mocks and start working on them. Read the previous years papers, standard books as well as latest current affairs. With enough practice, you will improve.
Relax, calm yourself but do not Quit:
Do not get worked up right now. You still have 100 days to get on track. Calm yourself and start with small, easy steps. Make a schedule and follow it. Keep distractions at bay. Believe in yourself.
Be Consistent, it is a marathaon:
As is repeated ad nauseum, UPSC is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep working hard everyday for the next 100 days. Do it diligently without fail. You will see concrete results only after you put your heart and soul in it.
This 100 days strategy can also be converted into a 90 days plan for upsc prelims 2021, but , we sincerely advice aspirants not to waste a single day from now onwards. All the best.
