Answer: A. 150 kVA
kVA rating is required for a transformer that must handle a maximum load current of 15 A with a secondary voltage of 10 Kv is 150 KVA.
Solution
The volt-ampere rating of the transformer =load voltage × load currrent
The given voltage is 10 kV and the current is 15 A
Volt-ampere rating =15×10=150 KVA
For the transformer input kVA is equal to output KVA.
