What is the Super TET? How should I start preparing for the Super TET exam?
SuperTET stands for Super Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted for the recruitment of teachers in the government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have qualified CTET/UPTET are only eligible to apply for this exam.
SUPER TET 2022: Nature
- Super TET is a single-mode exam.
- The mode of examination will be offline i.e, pen and paper mode.
- There is no negative marking in SuperTET.
- The examination will be for 2.5 hours.
SUPER TET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and Passed 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* OR
- Graduation and passed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Graduation and B.Ed. passed Candidates.
- Note: You must qualify for UPTET Paper-1 or CTET Paper-1 Exam.

SUPER TET 2022: Exam Pattern
- It is an offline pen-paper-based test of 150 marks having 150 multiple-choice questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark without any provision of negative marking.
- The examination type will be multiple choice questions and will include 4 options with only 1 correct option.
- The language of the paper will be in Hindi and English and candidates can choose any language.

SUPER TET 2022: Selection Process
The final selection process incorporates 10% marks of the total percentage obtained in high school, intermediate, graduation, and the teacher training certificate whereas 60% weightage is given to SUPER TET. So the final selection is a combination of written and academic merits.

How should I start preparing for the Super TET exam?
1. Time Management:
- Effective time management is very important as candidates has to complete the test within 150 minutes.
- Don't spend too much time on any single question.
- Try to complete the exam within the allotted time limit.
- Must save at least 15 minutes to fill the OMR answer sheet in Offline Paper.
2. Speed & Accuracy:
- Both Speed and accuracy is the key factor to crack any exam.
- Start attempting the exam from the section in which you have gripping (strongest subject).
- Accuracy & speed is very necessary to score more marks in the exam.
3. Tips for Current Affairs Section:
- A total of 30 questions will be asked in this section. Try to finish this subject within 8 to 10 minutes so that you can save time for other subjects.
- In this section mostly questions are asked about new appointments, brand ambassadors, recent discoveries, inventions, government schemes newly launched and books & authors.
4. Tips for Hindi, English & Sanskrit Section:
- In this subject total, 40 questions will be asked. Try to finish this subject within 20 to 25 minutes so that you can save time for other subjects.
- Try to attempt as many questions as you can as there is no negative marking.
- Try to attempt Grammar Questions first as they are direct.
- Afterwards, attempt the Word Usage question.
- At last attempt Unseen Passage as they are a bit time consuming and tricky.
5. Tips for Mathematics Section:
- In this subject, 20 questions will be asked. Try to finish this subject within 16 to 18 Minutes.
- This subject is based on formula and calculation so don't waste much time on a single question.
- Try to attempt a given topic first so easily you can score good marks in less time.

- Number System
- Simplification
- Arithmetic Question
- Geometry/Mensuration
6. Tips for Reasoning Ability Section:
- From the Reasoning, subject 5 questions will be asked. Candidates should complete this section within 5 to 7 minutes.
- This is a very easy and scoring subject.
- Try to attempt a given topic first so easily you can score good marks in less time. Mentioned below are the most important topics to be studied:-
- Blood Relations
- Analogy
- Classification
- Series
- Word formulation/Alphabet test
- Syllogisms
