In order to become a PRT, a candidate must hold a diploma in elementary education which is a 2-year course. On the contrary, a Trained Graduate Teacher must have completed their graduation along with the B.Ed course. Furthermore, if the candidate has completed their post-graduation before pursuing B.Ed, they will become a Post Graduate Teacher or PGT.
