Several amendments came between 1973 and 1975, but the Constitution also suffered damages after the Emergency was imposed on midnight of June 25, 1975. One by one, amendments were made by Parliament, whose life had already come to an end.

The 41st Amendment Bill was passed in August 1975, and at that time, all the members of the opposition of Parliament were in jail. The printing of newspapers was not allowed, and voices were silenced. This amendment represents the ultimate contempt for the rule of law.
