When aluminum reacts with hydrochloric acid a salt is formed along with the liberation of hydrogen gas. A salt is created when a metal combines with an acid, and hydrogen gas is also released. Aluminum (Al) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) combine to generate aluminum chloride (AlCl3) and colorless hydrogen gas (H2). The nature of this reaction is irreversible.

Physical Properties of Aluminium:
