Many other ordinary party members are not heard or consulted when critical decisions are being made due to the concentration of power in the hands of a few notable leaders. The problem of dynastic succession is another one. Since the beginning of time, political parties have fundamentally confronted this dilemma. Few influential individuals still hold the reins of power and do not seek the input of regular members. The internal operations of the party are unknown to ordinary members.
