Challenges Faced by Political Parties
The lack of internal democracy within political parties is one of the many difficulties they encounter. If political parties tend to organize and concentrate power under more than one or a few leaders at the top. Additionally, the failure to organize regular elections and the numerous organizational meetings of the political parties contribute to the lack of internal democracy.
The problem of dynastic succession is another one. Since the beginning of time, political parties have fundamentally confronted this dilemma. Few influential individuals still hold the reins of power and do not seek the input of regular members. The internal operations of the party are unknown to ordinary members.
