Mass media is a means of communication of information to the masses with the help of various channels. Mass media finds its way into the regular lives of all people, and the dependency on it has rather increased with the new introduction of the internet as one of its tools. The Internet has transformed the way people communicate or even lead their lives. The major advantage and disadvantage of mass media could be that although it has helped in connecting people in a much better way, it has also led to overdependence on the screens and internet while being surrounded by people. The other examples of mass media are newspapers, television, radio etc.
