Uttarakhand Board of School Education has released the official notification of the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2021. The online registration for the Uttarakhand Teacher eligibility test started on 1st September 2021. 30th September 2021 is the last date to fill out your Application forms for Uttarakhand TET. Those candidates who are not applied for this exam till now can apply by the given link.

UTET Notification 2021: Important Dates

UTET Eligibility Criteria 2021:

The eligibility criteria include the age limit, educational qualification which makes a candidate valid to apply for the eligibility test. A candidate needs to qualify all the eligibility criteria to be able to successfully apply for the UTET 2021. 

Educational qualification for UTET 2021 for Primary Teacher (Level - 1)

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
• Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR 
• Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teachers for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

Educational qualification for UTET 2021 for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level - 2)

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR 
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR 
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR 
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).
