UPSC Mains Result 2021 has been released on 17 March 2022. Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Mains Exam 2021 from 07 to 09, 15 & 16 January 2022 must check the UPSC Mains Result 2022 on the official website. UPSC has recently released the IAS Mains result 2021 on the official website on 17 March 2022. Applicants must note all the latest updates about UPSC Mains Result 2021 and UPSC Prelims Result in 2022 below. 

  • 17 March 2022: UPSC Mains Result PDF 2021 released. IAS Interview 2022 to be held from 05 April 2022. 

It is important to note that candidates who qualify for the exam after the declaration of Prelims result can only appear for the Mains exam. Further, candidates who clear the mains exam appear for an interview and then UPSC final merit list is released.

In the recent UPSC notification, the commission has declared to conduct the Preliminary exam on 5 June 2022, and the result is expected to be declared a few months after the exam. Those who qualify for the preliminary exam will be able eligible to appear UPSC Mains exam.

UPSC Prelims result and Mains result released by UPSC on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results by following the following steps.

  1. Step-1: Candidates should visit the official website of UPSC –
  2. Step-2: After landing on the website, scroll down and click on the ''Written Result.''
  3. Step-3: Find the Result PDF link and click on it. The PDF contains the list of ‘Roll Numbers’ of the selected candidates.
  4. Step-4: Press ‘Ctrl+F’ to search for the written result using your Roll number. If the number is located, then you are qualified otherwise disqualified (if the number does not exist).
  5. Step-5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

UPSC Mains Result 2021: Key Things to Remember

As per the notification, immediately after the declaration of UPSC Mains result of the written part, DAF-II (Detailed Application Form-II is released on the official website of the UPSC for a limited period of time. Candidates who have cleared the Mains exam would require to fill up and submit the DAF-II within the given time. Submission of DAF-II is mandatory and those who fail to submit within time will be rejected. 

UPSC Final Result 2021

The final UPSC result 2021 will be released soon by the Union Public Service Commission. The final result of UPSC will be based on the written tests and Personality tests. Candidates can get access to the UPSC final result 2021 by following the steps mentioned below.
