In the recent UPSC notification, the commission has declared to conduct the Preliminary exam on 5 June 2022, and the result is expected to be declared a few months after the exam. Those who qualify for the preliminary exam will be able eligible to appear UPSC Mains exam.

UPSC Prelims result and Mains result released by UPSC on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results by following the following steps.
- Step-1: Candidates should visit the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in
- Step-2: After landing on the website, scroll down and click on the ''Written Result.''
- Step-3: Find the Result PDF link and click on it. The PDF contains the list of ‘Roll Numbers’ of the selected candidates.
- Step-4: Press ‘Ctrl+F’ to search for the written result using your Roll number. If the number is located, then you are qualified otherwise disqualified (if the number does not exist).
- Step-5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

UPSC Mains Result 2021: Key Things to Remember
As per the notification, immediately after the declaration of UPSC Mains result of the written part, DAF-II (Detailed Application Form-II is released on the official website of the UPSC for a limited period of time. Candidates who have cleared the Mains exam would require to fill up and submit the DAF-II within the given time. Submission of DAF-II is mandatory and those who fail to submit within time will be rejected.
