UPSC Prelims Analysis 2021
The Prelims 2021 was a good mix of static topics from history, economy, polity, geography and current affairs. The sports questions asked from current affairs were surprising but UPSC has asked questions from sports in the past.
Current Affairs has remained one of the most important areas for candidates. There were around 27 questions from current affairs in 2021. Similarly, in 2020 there were 15 questions, 2019 had 22 and 2018 had 28 questions from Current Affairs. Therefore, Current Affairs is a must.
Exam Experts have predicted the UPSC CSE Prelims cut off marks for the 2021 prelims to be between 98 and 102 for the General category. You can read more on UPSC Cut Off marks here.
