UPSC IAS Prelims Exam Analysis 2020 (Paper 1 & Paper 2): Today's IAS Prelims 2020 Paper 1 has successfully been over now. Now it's time to share the detailed UPSC Prelims exam analysis 2020 of the Paper 1 &  2 held in two shifts. Union Public Service Commission conducts the Civil Services Exam for the recruitment of 796 vacancies for IAS/IPS/IFS/other posts. IAS Preliminary Exam held on 04th October 2020 across all allotted centers of India. The exam was conducted in two shifts: Paper-1: 09.30 AM-11.30 AM & Paper-2: 02.30 PM to 03.30 PM. The overall level of the UPSC IAS Prelims questions paper was moderate to tough.

The UPSC IAS 2020 prelims Question Paper 1, General Studies consists of 100 Objective type questions with four options, and CSAT Paper 2 consists of 80 Questions. There is negative marking in both the Paper under which 1/3rd of the marks is deducted for each incorrect answer.

UPSC IAS Prelims Exam Pattern: 4th October 2020

UPSC IAS Exam consists of three stages:

(i) Preliminary Exam

  • The candidates who qualify for the UPSC IAS 2020 Preliminary Exam will be allowed to appear in the next phase, i.e. The UPSC CSE Main Exam.

(ii) Main Exam

(iii) Interview
