India’s Rank in Various Index 2022 PDF

• Recently, the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2022 was announced by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). India is ranked 40th in the index. India was ranked 46th in the Global Innovation Index for 2021, a leap of 6 positions. In the GII 2022, Switzerland was ranked first.
• Mumbai (127) is listed as the most costly city in India for hiring foreign workers, followed by New Delhi (155), Chennai (177), Bengaluru (178), and Hyderabad (189). Kolkata (203) and Pune (201) are the least costly Indian cities in terms of cost of living.
• The European Intelligence Unit (EUI) released its Global Liveability Index Report 2022. The EUI assessed 173 locations worldwide in its Global Liveability Index 2022. The rating is based on five criteria: infrastructure, education, culture and environment, stability, and healthcare.
• Ookla, a provider of network data and connectivity insights, published the Speedtest Global Index. Norway and Singapore are ranked first for fixed broadband speeds (209.21 Mbps) and global mobile speeds (129.40 Mbps, respectively) in the May Speedtest Global Index.
