  • Avoid searching the internet for “best website” and the ‘best coaching material’ websites for current affairs, this wastes a lot of time. Do your search for a little time in a day and then decide about your source and stick with it. 

  • Don’t spend much time, for example, 3-4 hours, reading newspapers. Otherwise, you will have no time to read other subjects. Ideally, the newspaper reading should be finished within 2 hours.

  • If possible, avoid making hand-written notes for current affairs. You need to save the notes online and make important points there, it will save a lot of time. 

  • Reading the newspaper gives a good summary of concurrent events all over the world and it becomes much easier to read the daily compilation later. When you read the same issue twice, you will tend to retain it for a long time.

  • When you are reading newspapers, keep an eye on quality quotes and examples for essays, ethics, and interviews.

  • Constant revision is the key to success, It also helps to retain the information. Write daily practice or test series to check your knowledge. 

  • Take a map aside when you are reading current issues related to Geography and International Relations. This will help you to understand and analyze the issues with the neighbouring countries, which gives you a complete overview of political, geographical issues, etc.

  • It is best to revise current affairs immediately after you read the concerned static part of a question paper. 

  • Trust your instincts and have unflinching self-belief. You will outperform your own expectations.

  • There is a huge amount of online and offline current affairs content is available. So, it is better to stick to a few sources and study them comprehensively and repeatedly.
