Do not take frequent/longer breaks while studying – Many aspirants sometimes take longer study breaks than usual, this way they only waste their time. So It is advised to take breaks in between your preparation, but the time duration and number of breaks are not mentioned by any of them. You can take 15 minutes to break every 45 minutes round of study.
Sleep well and eat healthily – The most important thing to remember is that you must eat healthily and rest well to keep yourself attentive while studying. For this,
- You should sleep for 6-7 hours
- Eat healthy like fruits, veggies, fruit juice/smoothies only.
- Do some exercise and meditation, it will improve your physical and mental fitness.
- Also, please avoid junk food, sugar-coated products, and caffeine as these things make your body more tired and you cannot focus while studying
Do not multitask while studying. Set a time to study in advance and then follow through, don't do another thing at that time just study. You can turn off visual/auditory distractions, including iPods, Facebook, and music with lyrics.
Use Flashcards: Flashcards are a good memorization tool. Reduce your summary notes into bullet points, keywords, lists, formulas, and diagrams and place them onto a card for each topic.
Positive Attitude: Keep a positive attitude about the exam. Do not feel overconfident or not low, just keep a positive attitude and environment.
