Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj has released a recruitment notification of the State Engineering Services Exam 2021 (SES Exam 2021) for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE). UPPSC will fill up 281 vacancies for UPPSC AE through this recruitment. The selection process is through a written exam and interview.

B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Agricultural/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
Associate Member of Institution Engineers
You must be an Indian national to be eligible for the recruitment.
UPPSC AE Recruitment 2021: Exam Pattern
Selection will be made on the basis of written writing. Therefore, candidates should be familiar with the UPPSC AE test pattern before appearing for the test.
- The test will consist of 125 such questions per paper namely Paper I and Paper-II.
- The duration of each test will be 2.5 hours.
- The paper will have two main topics namely General Hindi and Concerned / Relevant Subject I.
- The top marks for each paper are 375. Of the 375 marks, 300 question marks are asked on the Concerned / Related topic.
- The standard Hindi / Awareness section will usually have only 25 questions i.e. the written test will focus more on the Concerned / Related topic.
- For all correct answers: +3 marks
- With the wrong answer -1 mark

UPPSC AE Selection Process 2021
The UPPSC AE selection process consists of two stages. These two categories are discussed below.
1. Written Test
The test will have two sections namely Paper I and Paper-II. Both tests will have a duration of 2.5 hours each. The number of questions, too, is the same for both papers, namely 125. Paper I and Paper II have 375 marks each. Paper, I will have two subjects namely General Hindi and Concerned Subject I and Paper II contains General Awareness and Lesson II Concerns.
Candidates will face face-to-face interviews. The conversation will be held for 100 marks. All original certificates will be verified during the interview. Applicants will be required to provide four passport-size photographs, two unconfirmed and two
confirmed by the Head of their Department of Education or Officer Gazetted during the Interview. Candidates working under the Central Government or State will have to produce a 'No Certificate of Opposition'.
