How is UPPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) Cut Off Determined?
The UPPSC AE Exam has a different cut-off every year. The rise or fall in the cut-off is determined by a number of factors.
- Number of Candidates: As the number of candidates in the examination apply for this test increases, the probability of the cut-off increases!
- Exam Difficulty Level: The difficulty level of the Exam has an influence on the cut-off. If the exam paper is exceedingly difficult, then the cut-off will be low and vice-versa.
- Number of Vacancies Available: If the number of seats available for the examination is few, the cut-off will be high since they want to hire the finest of all who are appearing in the exam. For instance, UPPSC has released a total of 281 vacancies for UPPSC AE 2022 recruitment. Thus, you may expect the cut-off to be a bit high since the number of vacancies is low.
