UP TGT PGT Final Selection Process 2016

The final merit list of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) & Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) will be based on the performance of the candidates in written test, Special Certificates, and interview.

The weightage of written test, interview, and Special Certificates will be 85:10:5 for the post of PGT & TGT. Special Certificates included Bachelor of Education, P.hD/D Phill, and Master of Education. Complete Detail of UP TGT & PGT teacher final selection is given on the table.

UP TGT PGT Merit List 2016 Calculation Process

UP Secondary Education Service Selection Board has the right to decide minimum written cutoff marks of each category for the next process of selection. The UPSESSB TGT & PGT written cutoff decided on the basis of performance of students. Generally, three times of student get shortlisted for the interview process.

Example: If any students answered correct 110 questions in the written exam and have B.Ed and M.Ed Degree and also got 30 marks in Interview then the complete merit list students are -

• Written Exam (Out of 425): 110*3.4 =374 Marks
• Interview (Out of 50): 30 Marks
• B.Ed Degree: 00 Marks
• M.Ed Degree: 10 Marks
• P.hd/D. Phill: 00 Marks
• Total Merit: 414 Marks

Note:

• If any students have both B.Ed & M.Ed degree then only will get the benefit of M.Ed Degree.
• National Level player also will get the benefit of 1%.
