UP Police SI 2016: Syllabus and Selection Process

Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police has announced notification for UP Police Sub Inspector.  Here we are providing the syllabus of the UP Police Sub Inspector. Candidates are advised to prepare the exam as per the given syllabus of the SI. Candidates stay connected with us we will keep on providing useful information and study plan and study notes on regular bases.

UP Police SI Syllabus and Exam Pattern Details:

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be based on Physical Standard test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & written examination.

 Physical Standard Test (PST):

  • Minimum 40KGs weight is required for Female Candidates.
  • Minimum 5cms expansion of chest is necessary for Male Candidates only.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This test is only for qualified candidates in Documentation & PST. There will be a race in this test of qualifying nature.


Male: 4.8 KMs in 28 minutes.

Female: 2.4 KMs in 16 minutes.

Written Examination:

Exam Pattern: Mains written exam will be of 400 marks consisting of multiple choice questions.
