UP Judicial Services(PCS J): Cut-Offs!! UPPSC conducts the PCS J(UP Judicial Services) Exam for recruitment of Civil Judges(JD). PCS J Exam Pattern
UP Judicial Services exam is conducted in two stages, Prelims and Mains. The scheme of examination is as given below:
UPPSC J Prelims Exam Pattern
The UP Judiciary Prelims exam will be an offline exam. There will be two papers of objective type questions. There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for every wrong answer.

UPPSC PCS J Previous Year Cut-Offs
Stages in UPPSC PCS J Civil Judge Cut-Off
In the UPPSC PCS J exam, there are three stages of Cut-offs that are released by the commission. These three stages are Prelims Cut-Off, Mains Cut-Off and Final Cut-Off. The details about these cut-offs are given below:
- Preliminary Stage Cut-Off: This Cut-off is released by the commission after the declaration of the Preliminary Test's result. The candidates who score more than these marks are eligible to appear for the next round of the exam, that is Mains Exam.
- Mains State Cut-Off: After the Mains exam is held, UPPSC releases a list of minimum marks that were required by the candidate to proceed to the next stage of examination, which is the interview round.
- Final Cut-Off: The last stage of the examination is the interview round which is held for 100 Marks. The candidates who score above this Final Cut-Off are the final successful candidates in the UPPSC PCS J Examination. The Final Merit List for the Exam is made on the basis of these marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for UPPSC PCS J Civil Judge
UPPSC in its official notification clearly states that the candidates have to score at least qualifying marks to be considered for selection. The minimum qualifying marks for various categories are given in the table below.
