1) Age Limit Criteria
The candidate must meet the following age-based criteria to apply for UP Agriculture Technical Assistant Recruitment 2018 –
Age Limit – The candidate applying for the UP Agriculture Technical Assistant post should be within the age group of 21 to 40 years as on 01st July 2018. This means that the candidate should not be born before 02nd July 1978 and not after 01st July 1997.

Ex-servicemen (includes Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have given 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) other than through dismissal on the charge of misconduct/inefficiency/physical disability
Those who are domiciled in Kashmir division of the state of J&K between 1 January 1981 and 31 December 1990
2) Educational Qualification
The candidate applying for the UP Agriculture Technical Assistant post must have completed graduation in Horticulture from a recognised institution/university.
For direct recruitment, more preference will be given to the candidates who have:
- The candidate must have served for 2 years in the territorial army.
- Or the candidate who has obtained the B certificate of National Cadet Corps.
