UCO Bank SO Recruitment 2020: UCO bank has released a revised official notification for the post of specialist officer in JMGS-I and MMGS-II. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for scale-1 and Scale-II posts in the specialist officer cadre from 27th October 2020. There is a total of 64 vacancies for scale 1 post and 27 vacancies for scale 2 posts. UCO bank has PAN India and an overseas presence, it is a great opportunity for the eligible candidates to start their career as SO in UCO Bank.

UCO Bank SO Probation Period & Bond

There is a probation period of 2 years for the selected candidates in JMGS-I and a probation period of 2 years for the selected candidates in MMGS-II. During their probation period, their performance will be highly monitored by the upper authority of the bank. Confirmation of the newly recruited officers will be based on the satisfactory completion of stipulated probation period.

Also, there is a bond for both the post which need to be signed before joining of the candidates. The details of the bond are given below.

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the specialist officer post with UCO bank. Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks.

5 years service as Commissioned Officer of           Army Navy/ Air Force or Assistant Commandants of Paramilitary         Forces (BSF/CRPF/ITBP/CISF/ SSB   etc)    or         Dy. Superintendent            of Police

OR

08 years service as Inspector                          in Paramilitary Forces (BSF/CRPF/ITBP/CISF/

SSB/IB/CBI etc) and Sub-Inspector

(investigation wing) of State Police.

Civil Engineers              in JMGS-1

A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized    University/Institution with 60% marks. Candidates with postgraduate degree will be preferred.

No mandatory requirement        of

experience but preference will be given to candidates having experience in

relevant field.

Electrical Engineers              in JMGS-1

A degree in Electrical Engineering from a  recognized  University/Institution with 60% marks. Candidates with postgraduate degree will be preferred.

UCO Bank Selection Process for Specialist Officers:

The selection for the aforementioned posts will be made on the basis of the Interview round only and the candidates who are applying for the post will be called for interview in the ratio of 3 to 5 times of the number of vacancies, which will be decided by the bank. Minimum passing marks required in the interview round will be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) out of a total of 100 marks. Merit/ Final Select list will be drawn Based on interview marks
