Common-Law Admission Test
CLAT
The Common law admission test (CLAT) is the dream examination of every student who is planning to carry forward his studies in the department of law after 12th. The Common law admission test (CLAT) is a national level entrance examination to get admission into one of the 22 National law universities (NLU) across the country. It is one of the most densely competed entrance examinations in our country.
CLAT encounters more than 60,000 applicants every year and the number of applicants is on a constant rise.
The total number of intake through CLAT is just 2500, and these 2500 seats are spread across the 22 participating NLUs.
National law universities are institutes of excellence. They are specialized institutes that impart legal education just like IITs for engineering. Reserving a berth in some Top NLUs by achieving a good rank in CLAT is the first page of a future lawyer’s success story. Most of these NLUs have a 100% placement record for its pass-outs. The average annual package of some top NLUs like NLU, Bangalore, NALSAR, Hyderabad, and WBNUJS, Kolkata touches tens of lakh. These institutes are heaven particularly for those students whose aim is to go in the corporate sector.
Till 2019 the CLAT examination included 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and the total allotted time was 120 minutes. However, there are some big changes that have been introduced by the CLAT consortium for the 2020 edition of the CLAT examination.

All India Law Entrance Test
AILET
AILET is the entrance examination for admission into National Law University, Delhi. The NLU, Delhi is the only NLU out of the 23 present NLUs in the country that doesn’t adhere to CLAT score and conducts its own national level entrance test named ‘All India Law entrance test (AILET)’.
More than 20,000 applicants appear for AILET every year for admission to a meagre 80 seats. Therefore, the ratio of the total number of applicants to the total number of available seats in AILET is even higher than CLAT. Furthermore, the difficulty level for AILET is way more than CLAT.
The NLU, Delhi has scored stupendous in Placements of its students with a 100% placement of its 2019 batch, with a whooping median salary of almost 14 lakh Per annum. The total time allotted in AILET is 90 minutes and the total number of questions is 150 (MCQs).
An all India entrance examination conducted for admissions to NLU Delhi for admissions to its undergraduate degree. The exam is conducted by National Law University Delhi.
Total Seats - 80 (out of it 10 seats allotted for Foreign Nationals/NRI)
Negative marks – There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
Exam Date - The date of AILET 2020 - Tentative 18th August 2020.
The exam will be conducted in Remote Proctored Test (RPT)

Symbiosis Law Admission Test
SLAT
Symbiosis Law Entrance Test is a common admission test for admission to the four Symbiosis law schools (SLS) situated each in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur.
The Written aptitude test (WAT) is followed by Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.
After the inception of SLS Nagpur recently which will also participate in SLAT, 2020 the total number of seats for law undergraduate courses has 900.
An all India entrance examination conducted for admissions to Symbiosis Law Schools situated in Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur, and Noida, for admissions to their undergraduate degree.

The mode of the examination will be online and it will be held across 85 different cities of India.
The duration of the SLAT exam was 90 minutes for the objective test and 30 minutes is assigned for Written Ability Test.
Each question has only four responses.

Law School Admission Test
LSAT India
LSAT is a national level entrance examination for admission into various deemed law schools in the country. The test is conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
LSAT is a standardized entrance exam for admission to five years integrated law course, three years LL.B, LL.M, and Ph.D.
An all India entrance examination conducted for admissions to Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun, SRM University, Amity Law School for admissions to their undergraduate degree.
A total of 48 private colleges takes admission through LSAT score. Some top institutes that acknowledge LSAT score are Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual property law, IIT Kharagpur, O.P. Jindal Global law school, and UPES, Dehradun.
In India, LSAT is conducted once a year and the exam duration is 2 hours 20 minutes.
