Government Jobs & Exams 2021: Getting a government job has been a dream for many aspirants as it offers job stability, fixed working hours, less work pressure, health care benefits, and a work-life balance. Last year, a total of 70,000 to 71,000 vacancies were declared in various departments of the government. However, due to a lack of correct knowledge, most of the candidates are not able to get government jobs. To cater to the needs of those candidates, in this article, we are providing the complete list of 9 important government job exams which are much easier to get compared to the other Sarkari exams.

RRB Group D 2021
The first exam on our list is RRB Group D. This exam is considered one of the easiest government job exams which is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board. All 10th pass candidates or ITI Diploma holder can appear for this exam. The exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant, Track Maintainer Grade IV, Assistant Pointsman, Welder, Cabin Man, etc.
Group D Exam has 2 stages in which the first stage is the Computer Based Test (CBT) while the second stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Almost, every year the Railway releases 50,000 to 60,000 vacancies of Group D posts and a total of 1 to 1.5 crore aspirants register for this exam. Though the exam level is easy, however owing to a higher number of candidates, only 1 out of 100 candidates qualifies for the PET. Hence, in order to qualify for this exam, you have to work on accuracy as well as speed.
RRB NTPC 2021
The second exam on the list is the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) which is also conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board or RRB. Graduates and Undergraduates can apply for RRB NTPC which depends on post to post. This exam consists of 4 stages which are CBT-1, CBT-2, Typing/ Skill Test, and Document Verification (DV). Nevertheless, the exam stage varies from post to post.
The first stage CBT-1 comprises 100 questions from 3 different sections which are Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness with a total duration of 90 minutes.
The second stage also consists of questions from the 3 same sections, but the quantity of the questions is more viz. 120 questions for which candidates get a total of 90 minutes.
There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every wrong question in both stages.
Every 2 to 3 years, the Railway board releases 15,000 to 30,000 vacancies in various categories of NTPC. Around 90 Lakh to 1.25 crore aspirants register for this exam and around 4 out of every 100 candidates are selected in CBT-2/ Stage 2.
SSC MTS 2021
Multi-tasking Staff (MTS) is third among the top 9 easiest exams on our list. This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Class 10th pass candidates are eligible to apply for this exam. This exam involves 2 stages of recruitment which are Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 consists of questions from 4 different subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness with a total of 100 questions. Paper 2 included a short essay with a weightage of 50 marks.
Looking at the past year trends, around 70 Lakh candidates register for this exam and around 1.6 Lakh candidates are selected for Paper 2.
SSC CHSL 2021
Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) is also one of the easiest government job exams conducted in India. Candidates on clearing the exam get a post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The salary offered is in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 80,000 (depending upon the years of service). This exam has 3 stages which are CBT-1, Descriptive Paper, and Typing Test/ Skill Test.
Going by the past year trends around 25 to 50 Lakh candidates register for this exam and only 40 to 50 per cent of candidates appear for this exam.
SSC GD Constable 2021
SSC GD Constable is also another easiest government job examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This exam consists of mainly three stages which are written test or Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Test. In the first stage viz. CBT a total of 100 questions are asked from 4 different sections which are General Knowledge & General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, and English language.
Around 50 Lakh candidates appear for this exam and out of every 10 candidates one candidate is able to qualify for the second stage which is the Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).
SSC Stenographer 2021
SSC Stenographer is also another easiest government job examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for the post of Stenographer in Grade C & Grade D. The selection process for this exam comprises of two stages which are Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill Test. Every year the SSC board releases around 1500 vacancies for both Group C and D and almost 2 to 4 Lakh candidates register for this exam.
DFCCIL Executive/ Junior Executive (Operations & BD)
Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) Operations & Business Development (BD) is also considered another easiest government job exams. The exam is conducted by the DFCCIL board in which around 30,000 to 1 Lakh candidates register. The exam is conducted for the post of Executive & Junior Executive. Executive (Operations & BD) has 4 stages which are Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Test, whereas Junior Executive (Operations & BD) has 3 stages which are CBT, DV, and Medical Test.
DSSSB Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
DSSSB LDC/ JSA is also another easiest government job exam conducted by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). This exam consists of two stages which are online written test and skill test. The first stage comprises of 5 subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language & Comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension.
SSC CGL 2021
Combined Graduate Level (CGL) is also the easiest government job exam which is to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Only graduates are eligible to sit for this exam. The recruitment process comprises four stages which are Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. Tier 1 and Tier 2 are Computer Based Test. Tier 1 comprises four subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension with a total of 100 questions. Tier 2 comprises mainly two subjects including Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension, General Studies (Economics & Finance) and Statistics are optional subjects, each of these subjects consists of 100 questions except for English Comprehension which consists of 200 questions.
Tier 3 is a descriptive paper while Tier 4 comprises of Skill Test/ Data Entry Skill Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
Every year, the SSC board releases a total of 8000 to 11,000 vacancies in which 25 to 40 Lakh candidates register and only 1.5 Lakh candidates are able to qualify for Tier 2.
