Top Engineering Colleges in India: The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (MHRD), announced the NIRF 2023 ranking on 5 June 2023. In addition, the top engineering colleges in India, NIRF rankings 2023 have been released, and various other categories like Pharmacy, Engineering, Universities, Medical, Management, Architecture, Colleges, and Law are also released by NIRF.

This framework traces a process to rank organizations across the country. The process sketches the general suggestions and comprehensive knowledge of a Committee set up by MHRD to determine the comprehensive parameters for ranking various universities and institutions, including rankings of top engineering colleges in India in 2023. The parameters are as follows:
- The parameters broadly cover Graduation Outcomes, Research and Professional Practices, Teaching, Learning and Resources, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.
- The procedure is founded on designing a set of metrics for ranking academic institutions established on the parameters decided upon by the committee.
