TNPSC Vacancy 2020 Released! The Tamil Nadu, Public Service Commission, has notified for the direct recruitment to the vacancies in the posts included in Combined Civil Service-I Examination (Group -I Services). This gives an excellent opportunity to serve with the top management of the State Government. If you wish to contribute to society, then there is a chance to work in the State administration.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates only through online mode up to 19.02.2020. The Applicants are advised to check the filled in the online form before finally submitting the same.

TNPSC Vacancy 2020 Notification

The registration towards fee, i.e. One-Time Registration, will be valid for five years from the date of registration. After that, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee. Those who have registered in the One-Time Registration system and paid the registration fee, i.e., Rs.150/-, it is enough to pay the examination fee alone.

Preliminary Examination Fee: Rs. 100, Main Written Examination Fee: Rs. 200

Note: the fee exemption is available for the candidates belonging to- Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Differently abled persons, Destitute widows of all categories, Most Backward Classes (Denotified communities) and Ex-servicemen. The details can be referred from the official notification.

Educational Qualification

In addition to Graduation, some additional qualifications are needed for specific posts.

		Third Preference	A degree either in Commerce or Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws.
		Fourth Preference	A degree either in Commerce or Law.
3.	Assistant Director of Rural Development Department	i. Post Graduate Degree in Rural Service of the Gandhigram Rural Institute, Madurai District. ii. Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Extension. iii. Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology.

Physical Qualification: Applicants applying for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat.I) and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) must possess the following Physical Qualifications:

For Men: Must be not less than 165 cms in height and not less than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration and must have a chest expansion of not less than five cms on full inspiration. ii. For Women: Must be not less than 155 cms in Height. The Chest measurement will not apply to them.
District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services)	i. For Men: Must be not less than 165 cms in Height, 50 kgs in Weight and not less than 89 cms round the chest on full inspiration and 84 cms (normal) with not less than five cms chest expansion on full inspiration. ii. For Women: Must be not less than 155 cms in Height. The Chest measurement and 50 kg Weight will not apply to them.

*Note: Certificate of Physical Qualification need to produced only by those candidates who opt for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category I), and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) should produce a certificate from a Medical Officer of/or above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon appointed by the Government.

Certificate of Physical Fitness: Applicants selected for appointment to the posts included in Group-I Services will be required to produce a certificate of physical fitness in the form prescribed below before his/her appointment:-
