TISSNET Notification 2023 for Eligibility Criteria 

As the notification for the TISSNET 2023-25 batch is yet not released, the aspiring candidates can check below the following Eligibility Criteria of TISSNET.

  1. a) The candidates who have completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university under the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Master's Degree programmes will have additional/specific eligibility criteria. 
  2. b) The candidates who have completed all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by October 31, 2022, are also eligible to apply. Check previous year’s TISSNET Analysis.
  3. c) The candidates who are eligible to apply but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by October 31, 2022. If they fail to do so, their provisional admission will stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate. 
  4. d) At the time of applying candidates studying in a 3-year degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters, and candidates studying in a 4-year degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 6th semesters.
  5. e) Until the candidate submits her/his degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of having completed the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.
  6. f) If at anytime the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading, her/his candidature/admission will be cancelled. Go through TISSNET Preparation and be prepared accordingly.
  7. g) Candidates shortlisted for Personal Interviews are required to produce their original certificate and mark sheet on the date of the personal interview, for verifying that the candidate is eligible for admission. Those who are in the final year but are eligible to apply are required to produce their mark sheets of all previous semesters (excluding the final semester) for verification on the date of the Personal Interview. The candidates who do not bring the mentioned certificates in original shall not be allowed to appear for the interview. However, due to pandemics, for this year's admission, original document verification for the provisionally selected candidate will be done at a later stage, for which the schedule will be notified later. Important Note as per TISSNET Notification

Note the below points for all the important points related to TISSNET 2023 Notification, as per the official announcement.

(i) If the payment is made through cash deposit in an SBI branch, a charge of Rs. 50/- will be made by SBI as their processing fee for each deposit, which cannot be adjusted against the TISSNET Application Fee.

(ii) Payments made via pay order, demand draft, or any mode other than the above modes are not acceptable, and the application will be rejected. No communication to this effect will be sent to such candidates. Get all the details for TISSNET Result.

(iii) Candidates applying online will be asked to choose between two modes of payment, 'Cash' or 'Payment Gateway' in the online application form. If the preferred mode of payment is 'Cash', a payment challan has to be downloaded from the 'Download Challan' tab. The payment challan will have 3 copies. Deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of the State Bank Of India. The bank will return two copies of the challan (Student Copy and TISS Copy) with the bank's seal, signature, and journal number on it. Candidates have to scan the 'TISS Copy' of the challan, login back to the online application system, and upload it. Stay updated with the TISSNET Selection Process.

TISSNET Notification 2023 for Paper Pattern 

TISSNET Exam Pattern is expected to be the same as the previous years. The candidates who will register themselves for the TISSNET 2023 must note all the important details for the paper pattern and topics covered in this exam. The TISSNET Exam Duration is 100 minutes. TISSNET Marking Scheme

As per the TISSNET Exam, there were a total of 100 questions, and each question carried 1 mark. There is no TISSNET Negative Marking in Additionally; there is no sectional cut-off for the English Proficiency section and the Mathematical and Logical Reasoning section; however, there is TISSNET Sectional Cut Off for the General Awareness section, and the candidates need to qualify for the minimum cut-off mark for the General Awareness section.
