1. Choose a Proper Study Space

Due to self-quarantine, everyone in your family members must be at home, so sometimes it becomes difficult to study. So, it becomes crucial to choose a proper study space where you can focus on your studies. Choose a study space where no one can disturb you, whether it’s your room or table with a chair in the corner or a mini table on the bed. Create an organized study space along with a study timetable. Also, inform other family members about your study time and make a DND (Do Not Disturb) zone for them.

Moreover, keep your study area clean so that you are able to find the books and other study material when needed.

2. Create a Study Timetable

It’s easy to slip into a situation at home where studies and leisure become blurred, study time can spill into leisure time, and leisure time can seep into times when you should be studying.

To remain disciplined, create a study timetable that breaks up the day into different periods of study. Ensure that regular breaks are included, especially a proper lunch break and workout timing and fun activity time/ hobby time. A proper timetable will not let you go off track from your studies.

3. Join a Virtual Study Group

Many a time, staying at home and studying can be tedious. To overcome this, you can join a virtual study group; in your virtual study group, you can connect with friends, share knowledge, ask doubts, share experiences and curb your loneliness.

4. Eat and Sleep Properly in the Self-Quarantine

In this self-quarantine period, you must eat a balanced and healthy diet to keep your immunity in the proper order. Eat healthy foods such as green vegetables (broccoli, spinach, ladyfinger, bottle gourd, pumpkin, etc.) fresh fruits (orange, amla, mangoes, apple, etc.). Avoid junk, oily, and sugary foods and take a good nap because a good rest relaxes your mind, improves mood & performance, and reduces stress.

5. Reward Yourself When You Have Achieved Yours Daily Targets

When you have completed the tasks that you have set for yourself, you can reward yourself with a game/ motivational video/ your favourite music or any fun activity you like. Rewarding yourself will keep you motivated, and you will look forward to doing something more and achieve.
