The internal resistance of an ideal current source is infinity.
Solution
The ideal current source constantly delivers the same amount of current irrespective of circuit conditions. The drop in the current, delivered by the ideal current source is zero. The current diversion takes place only in shunt paths. The series impedance cannot affect the flow of current in the circuit.
To make the shunt path current zero, the resistance of the shunt path must be infinity. The internal resistance of an ideal current source is infinity. We can not find out the voltage across an ideal current source directly by using KVL. The voltage magnitude across an ideal current source can be measured after measuring the voltage drops across all the elements.
