Charles Babbage, who was born in 1791, is known as the father of computer because of his research into machines that can calculate numbers. The first computer system ever created that could compute and output mathematical tables was Babbage's Difference Engine Number. Additionally, Babbage spent years on the Analytical Engine, which was the most complex machine. The Analytical Engine had a memory and could make judgments based on past computations in addition to being able to calculate sums and read data from punch cards.

Summary:

The Father of Computer Is

Charles Babbage was an English polymath. A mathematician, philosopher, inventor, and mechanical engineer. Babbage originated the concept of a digital programmable computer. Babbage was a key person in the conception of computing even though he passed away before completing any of his designs like Difference Engine and Analytical Engine. Some incomplete mechanisms by Babbage are partially on show in London's Science Museum. From Babbage's original designs, a different engine was built in 1991. The success of the final engine demonstrated that Babbage's device would have functioned had it been constructed to the tolerances feasible in the 19th century.
