The Uttarakhand Board of School Education has released the official notification for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 and exam is scheduled to be held on 24th March 2021. It is a state-level teaching entrance exam. Eligible and interested candidates can apply from 29th January 2021 to 18th February 2021.
The main aim of conducting the UTET exams is to provide national standard and benchmark of teacher quality in selection Process.
As you all know, UTET certificate is the minimum eligibility to get the teaching job. So, after you have cleared the UTET exam, you are eligible to become a government teacher. After getting the certificate, you can apply for vacancies released by schools. Some main importance of the UTET certificate is given below,

The validity period of UTET qualifying certificates will be of seven years from the date of declaration of result. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and UTET qualified person also can appear again and again in the exam for improving his/her score.
The candidates who appeared in UTET will be issued a marks statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued an eligibility certificate. School management may consider giving concessions to the person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
