UP TGT PGT Exam Pattern 2022: Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme

1. There will be two different exams for UP TGT and UP PGT. 
2. All questions will be in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) form with 4 options.
3. As the paper will be in an offline mode so candidates need to circle the right answer via a black ball pen in the OMR sheet.
4. Based on marks obtained by the candidate in the written exam, the merit list will be prepared and the candidate will be selected based on their names on the merit list.

• Education Qualification weightage will be 50 marks
• Special Qualification (Ph.D., M.Ed., B.Ed., participated in the sports team state level) will be 25 marks.

2. As per UP TGT exam pattern, the paper is 500 marks with a 125 total number of questions.
3. As per the UP PGT exam pattern, the written paper is 425 marks with a total of 125 questions. 
4. In UP PGT each question will be 3.4 marks and in UP TGTeach question will be 4 marks.
5. There is no negative marking in the paper
