HP TET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts):

  • B.A./B Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.).
  • B.A./B Com. with at least 45% and 50 % marks 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.A.Ed.
  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education).

Trained Graduate Teacher (Non-Medical):

  • B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.).
  • B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% and 50 % marks 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.Sc.(NM)Ed. 
  • B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education).

Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical):

  • B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.).
  • B.Sc (Medical) with at least 45%(only for those who have passed B.Ed up to 30.08.2009) and 50 % marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) /4 years B.Sc.(Medical)Ed.

Shastri Eligibility Criteria:

  • Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government.

Language Teacher Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known)
  • B.A. with at least 45% with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • B.A. with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education).
  • B.A. with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) 
  • M.A. (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Junior Basic Training Eligibility Criteria:

  • 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from a recognized institute. 
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45%(only for those who have passed B.Ed up to 30.08.2009) and 50 % marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). 
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed)/ 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education). 
  • Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education

Punjabi Language Teacher Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education /1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
  • M.A. (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education /1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
  • M.A. (Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Step to Apply Online for HP TET November 2021 Recruitment

  • Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the official website http://hpbose.org/OnlineServices/CET/TET/Instructions.aspx#
  • Thirdly, After registration candidates need to upload photos & signatures in a given format
  • Fourthly, After photo submission candidates need to pay the application fee through online mode- through payment gateway by Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card.
  • Lastly, After fee submission candidates are required to print the completed online application form.

HP TET Exam Pattern

         1. The HPTET exam will have 150 multiple-choice questions.
         2. Syllabus for the different posts differs as the subjects are different but the overall exam pattern is common. 
         3. The time duration for the HPTET is 2.5 hours.
         4. The HPTET is conducted offline and the answers have to be filled in the OMR-based answer sheet.
         5. Each question carries 1 mark.
         6. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
         6. Candidates have to score a  minimum of 60% marks to move ahead in the selection process.

HP TET Admit Card 2021

        1. HP TET Admit cards are available prior four days before the exam.
        2. Admit cards can be downloaded from the website by entering details.
        3. Candidates should take a printout of at least 3 copies of admit card.
        4. As without Admit card entry is not allowed in the examination hall, so don't forget to carry admit card.
