DSSSB Syllabus 2021 Official Detail

The DSSSB Syllabus 2021 is prescribed by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) for the recruitment of PRT, TGT, and PGT teachers in the Delhi government schools. To crack the DSSSB 2021 exam, you must have complete knowledge of DSSSB PGT, TGT, PRT, and Nursery Teacher syllabus & exam pattern. Having complete knowledge of the syllabus for each post will help you to get through the DSSSB teacher exam easily.

Though the exam date for the DSSSB exam has not been announced yet for the TGT PGT PRT & Nursery Teacher vacancies. However, you must begin your preparation right from day 1 as the exam date can be announced at any time. DSSSB Teacher Syllabus for TGT and PRT is a two-tier exam while for the PGT it is a two-tier exam.

DSSSB Exam Pattern 2021 for PGT, TGT PRT/Nursery Teacher

The DSSSB Syllabus for PRT, TGT comprises of the one-tier exam. On the other hand, the DSSSB Syllabus for PGT is a two-tier process. Let us first give you an idea of the exam pattern with the marking scheme for the DSSSB Syllabus syllabus as per the latest notification. The selection for TGT and PRT will be made on the marks scored in tier I while for PGT it will be on the basis of marks scored in Tier 2.

Important points for DSSSB Exam for PRT, TGT & PGT

(i) Negative Marking will be applicable and a deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong answer.

(ii) The Board reserves its right to prescribe a minimum cut off mark for any post as per availability of candidates.

(iii) The Examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers which would be in the language concerned only.

(iv) The selection shall be made through One Tier (T) for PRT and TGT post while Two Tier (T) for the post of TGT. 

(v) There is no provision of re-evaluation/re-checking of Answer Sheets/Answer Scripts in respect of the examinations conducted by DSSSB.

In this section, the question will be asked from concerned subjects. The concerned subject is different for each subject, Like Math, teacher questions will ask from mathematics.

DSSSB Syllabus 2021 for PGT for Tier 2

Here is the syllabus for DSSSB PGT posts for Part 1 and Part 2. 

Part I: Objective/MCQ

(i) General Intelligence & reasoning ability - The syllabus will be the same as in tier 1. However, the difficulty level of the questions will be higher. 

(ii) Quantitative Aptitude - In addition to Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities as in tier-I with a slightly higher level

(iii) General Awareness: In addition to topics given for Tier-I there shall be the question on history, culture, demography, geography & economy of Delhi, Administrative set up and Governance in NCT of Delhi, various schemes of Delhi Govt.

(iv) Hindi & English language & Comprehension - same as in tier-I but with a slightly higher level.

(v) Numerical Aptitude & Data interpretatio

Part-II : (Descriptive)

In this section, the question will be asked from concerned subjects. The concerned subject will be dependant on the subjects teaching methodology as well as the subjects of post-graduation.
