What should be the CTET 2022 preparation strategy?

As the examination is postponed the CTET 2021 aspirants now have more time to bring finesse to the preparation. We have shared the preparation strategy for CTET and will tell you some key points which should be kept in mind while preparing.

  • Regularly attempting CTET mock tests is necessary to score good marks in the real exam which will help in managing time effectively and efficiently.

  • Now your goal should be to revise the syllabus again and again. Revise all the important topics daily according to a time table and memorize the concept, important theories, and formulas during this revision.

  • Focus on solving the quizzes of each subject regularly, this will improve accuracy as well as the performance in the test.

  • Till now you must be able to identify your weak areas,  read and learn all the basic concepts and pay special attention to your weak areas.

CTET Subject-wise strategy

  1. To get more than 25 marks in the Child Development & Pedagogy section keep revising the concepts and theories. However, understanding concepts becomes very challenging so go through the short notes you prepared and the notes provided by us. Also, keep attempting the CDP quizzes.

  2. The practice is the only solution that will help you master the Mathematics section. Practice questions from each topic and check your preparation level. Check and match your solutions after attempting, and you will get to know about your weak areas and then improve them accordingly.

  3. For the language section, read the question thoroughly to understand its condition and then continue. If you fail to understand what the question asks, revise the grammar rules and the content part of the language. You have to go through pedagogy topics with more dedication.

  4. Focus on the content of NCERT books for the environmental studies section. Keep revising the important topics regularly. The pedagogy part of Environment studies is of great significance. Read the questions related to approaches and attempt as many quizzes as you can.

  5. To prepare Paper-II, refer to the NCERT textbooks. The questions that are asked may be from the higher class than the one you intend to teach, i.e. for Paper-II, read from classes 9 and 10 NCERT textbooks. Analyze the previous years’ question papers which will give you a fair idea about the questions that can be asked in the exam.
