Answer – The first two statements are true. The youngest of the three is Eric. Therefore, the third statement must be false.
Let the age of Tanya be t. Let the age of Eric be e. Let the age of Cliff be c. Now, from the first two statements t > e, c > t. Combining both the above statements, we get c > t > e. Showing Cliff is older than Tanya and Eric. This shows that the third statement is wrong.
Therefore, the first two statements are true. The youngest of the three is Eric. Therefore, the third statement must be false.
