Success Story - Vandana Sharma

Dear friends,
Here I am sharing my experience and my preparation strategy and I hope it would be beneficial for you all.
First of all, I want to say that in order to achieve something, you should be focused and determined enough so that any hurdle couldn't be able to stop you from achieving your dream.

Exams so far I have given and failed :

IBPS PO VI--failed in mains
IBPS clerk VI-- again failed in mains
SBI PO 2017-- once again couldn't clear mains.
RBI assistant 2017--couldn't clear mains.

After failing in SBI it was serious time for me to take a break just to see where I was lacking besides working very hard. And I discovered all my weaknesses and overcame them and I also discovered my strengths and made them even stronger. If you are working hard but you don't have a clear image of what your targets are, and whether you are just hitting the bush or you are going in a planned and systematic direction, then I must say your hard work will go in vain. Because in this highly competitive world where everyone is working very hard to achieve what they want, you have to do something specifically different from others to get an edge over others. And here smart works added with hard work will take you to your ultimate destination.

Exams which I have cleared::

1.IBPS PO VII (got selected in Allahabad bank)

2.IBPS CLERK VII (got selected in Bank of Baroda)

3.Syndicate & Canara Bank PGDBF (cleared mains but will not attend the interview).

Preparation Strategy :

Now I am coming to the point of how to deal with different stages efficiently::

Prelims--
By the time you will start giving mocks your basics should be crystal clear. Because here speed with accuracy matter the most and for that you should have a good hold on your fundamentals.
Books and online sources- Sarvesh Verma, M tyra, Amar sir YouTube channel,  daily quizzes of Grade up, affairs cloud & adda.

Mains -
Since you have cleared prelims means your basics are clear so, now focus on mocks and quizzes for math's reasoning and English.

For General Awareness -
This section is a game changer. In fact, your chances to be get selected for interview largely depends on this section. So never do the mistake of ignoring it.
For CA & static awareness you can follow grade up, affair cloud and adda. And for BA follow grade up's articles (quick look on financial awareness), adda's BBM show and you can also follow arihant's banking awareness book.

For Descriptive writing -
From my personal experience I would suggest you all to follow @satabdhi kesari barik sir's posts. He has provided almost every topic to be covered for descriptive and he is still helping. I will give my whole credit for this section to Satabdhi sir.

My score in mains- 104.75/225.

Interview Round -

After clearing mains comes Interview Round. For this round, the most important thing you have to do is to "be you" in front of the panel members & don't even think of trying to act smart. Your knowledge has already been checked now it is time for them to check your confidence, dedication & honesty. People often get relaxed after clearing mains and take this phase very lightly but it plays a very important role in your final selection.
My score in interview- 78/100.

At last, I just want to add a quote which is my personal favourite::

"Haar Jeet toh kismat ki Baat hai ..Lekin hum kosis bhi naa kre yeh toh galat bat hai''( Losing or winning is a thing of luck, but we don't even try is definitely wrong).

So believe in the process, rather than the results.

And yes never forget to pray every day. It will help you to stay positive.
.
Feel free to ask any query regarding your preparation, I'll try to answer them if I would be able to.

All the best !!

Thanks !!
