To be eligible to apply for the TNPSC Group 1 2022 exam, make sure you fulfill the following TNPSC eligibility criteria as described below. The TNPSC Group 1 eligibility includes age limit, educational qualification, and the physical requirement for a few selected posts.
TNPSC Age Limit (as on 01.07.2022)
TNPSC has mentioned the TNPSC Group 1 age limit for various posts. The age limit defines the minimum and maximum age applicable to different posts and categories. The TNPSC age relaxation is also mentioned below.

TNPSC Educational Qualification
As per the TNPSC Group 1 notification, the Tamil Nadu Civil services eligibility criteria is such that the candidate must hold a graduation degree from any recognized university apart from the given preferential qualifications. Moreover, TNPSC Group 1 eligibility also states that the applicant should have proficient knowledge of the Tamil language. In addition to Graduation, some additional qualifications are needed for specific posts.
Final year candidates may also apply for TNPSC Group 1 exam. However, such candidates must be in possession of original certificates while uploading documents for the Mains exam.

TNPSC Physical Qualification
TNPSC Applicants applying for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat. I) and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) must possess the following Physical Qualifications

Certificate of Physical Fitness
