UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020 Date Announced

Earlier, UPSC has released a notification on 4th May 2020, regarding the Postponement of the exam that was to be held on 31st May 2020. Later UPSC released a fresh notice about the release of Exam dates of UPSC IAS Exam Prelims 2020 and other such exams conducted by UPSC on 5th June 2020. UPSC conducts various examinations like Civil Sevices, EPFO, CDS, NDA & CAPF which have been delayed till now. Today they have released the new dates after assessing the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the fresh notice by UPSC will be conducting the Civil Services Exam on 04 October 2020.

This news has come up with great relief for the aspirants who were waiting for the clarity and some certainty from UPSC regarding the dates of the exam. Candidates must have utilized their time amidst the lockdown in a productive manner and now they must start their Revision process for the UPSC prelims Exam 2020. Given the more time for studies and the increasing number of candidates applying for the exam each year, UPSC IAS Prelims exam is set to be relatively more competitive this year and so aspirants should not leave any stone unturned in their final stage of preparation.

In the Revised Programme of Examinations released, UPSC EPFO Exam which was scheduled to be held on 04 October 2020 has now been postponed till further notice. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for any further updates by UPSC.

New dates for the Civil Services Main exam has also been intimated. UPSC Civil Services Mains 2020 Exam will commence on 08 January 2021. Candidates clearing the Preliminary stage of the exam will be eligible for the Main Exam.
