Here comes the role of the last-minute tips and tricks. These last-minute strategies & time management tips are key to cracking SSC Multitasking Staff (MTS) exam.

In this article, we're sharing last-minute tips that will surely help you attempt the questions in tier 1 of the SSC MTS exam in an organised and best possible manner.

SSC MTS Last Minute Preparation Tips 2022

The last few days of the SSC MTS tier 1 preparation should be solely dedicated to revision and practice. You might be concerned that you haven't done enough practise or that whatever you study right now will be all you would recall in the exam hall. The very first tip for all the aspirants who are going to appear for the SSC MTS exam Paper 1 is "Don't Panic, Keep Calm".

The last few days can be very helpful for consolidation, therefore it should be utilised intelligently. Rather than panicking, take efforts to guarantee that you can still score good marks in the SSC MTS Computer Based exam 2022. To prepare for the exam and stay focused while studying, you can utilise quick and easy study tips.

Stick to the Old Tricks and Practices

While practising and attempting questions stick to the tricks and practices that you have been using all this while. This becomes more important in the case of reasoning and quant questions. Using the new tricks and ways would lead to confusion and will serve no use as the new tricks would need a lot of time and practice to master.

Prioritize the Topics as per their Weightage

When choosing topics to revise, first go for the topic having more weightage in the SSC MTS paper 1. Once finished, move on to the topics having less weightage. Among the low weightage topics, select the topics that will take less time and have relatively more question weightage. This way you would not miss any important topics from the SSC MTS syllabus.

Practice Mock Tests and SSC MTS Previous Year Papers

Speed and accuracy both play an important role in any exam. Practising mock tests before the exam would help you prepare a strategy and set the order of attempting questions for the final day. This way it reduces the chances of committing small mistakes and increases confidence. Solving previous years' papers is beneficial in a way that candidates can check the question pattern and the difficulty level of the exam. SSC MTS question papers also act as the "low hanging fruit" for aspirants as the questions have high chances of getting repeated and they can score better in the MTS tier 1 exam 2022.

Don't Start Any New Chapter

This is a common mistake committed by the aspirants in the last few days. In order to complete the syllabus, they study new topics. This creates more confusion and eventually, they are unable to recall the latest information and sometimes forget the earlier information too. It is always better to revise the already studied topics in the last leg of preparation.

Revise Summaries and Short Notes

With only one month left for stage 1 of the SSC MTS selection process, it's a good idea to go through summaries of each topic, such as mind maps or one-page bullet point summaries. If you haven't previously done so, revising the important and double-checking your grasp is a smart idea. Mugging up the whole notes before the exam is a time taking process. Rather than long notes, just read the important data and that will be all. If there is a topic about which you are particularly unsure, it may be beneficial to go over it again but not for all the topics.

Time Management is Important

As the SSC MTS Paper 1 is approaching nearer, aspirants must diligently divide time for all the subjects after analysing their preparation for the exam. Allot time in accordance with the nature of the topics and subjects. For example: allot more time to Quant and Reasoning as questions from these subjects need time and practice. Allot less time to the English and General Awareness subjects. Revise SSC MTS Exam English Language Vocabulary and Current affairs of the last 4-5 months without a miss.

Hope these tips were useful for you. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the SSC MTS exam 2022.
