SSC MTS & Havaldar 2023 Application Process

SSC MTS & Havaldar 2023 Application started on 18th Jan 2023 and 24th Feb is the last date for filling out the form, we are going to provide you with the step-by-step procedure by which you can fill out the application form before the last date.

Registration

• In order to fill out the SSC MTS Online Form, you need to register yourself first by visiting the official site of the Staff Selection Commission- http://ssc.nic.in/.
• Click on the link that reads, "New User/ Register Now". 
• You will be redirected to a new window where you will be required to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, Aadhaar Card, email id, mobile number etc. for the registration.
• If you don't have Aadhaar Card, you can provide any of the following ID proof:
  i. Voter ID Card
  ii. PAN
  iii. Passport
  iv. Driving License
  v. School/ College ID
  vi. Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
• After submitting the above-mentioned details, you will receive your Username and Password on your registered email ID and phone number.
• Next, submit further details such as Category, Nationality, visible Identification Mark & information if there are any disabilities.
• Submit your permanent and current address details
• Now, upload your latest passport size photo and signature as per the dimensions mentioned
• Make sure the size of your passport size photograph is in JPEG format and should be between 20 KB & 50 KB
• While your signature size which is in JPEG Format should be between 10 KB and 20 KB
• The dimensions of the signature uploaded should be 4.0 X 3.0 cm
• If you have not provided your Aadhar Card details then, please provide a scanned Left-hand Thumb Impression (LTI) in JPEG format
• The size of LTI must be between 10 KB to 30 KB and the image should be clear.
• Once you complete the submission of the above details, click on the tab that reads 'Final Submit'.
• OTPs will be sent to your mobile number and Email ID.
• Enter that OTP for completing the final process
• Basic details can be edited only once so read carefully before you submit the SSC MTS application form

Online Application

• Log in to SSC online system with your registered Email ID and Password.
• Click on the "Apply link" in the "Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2022" section under the 'Latest Notifications tab'.
• Fill up the preference for Examination Centers keeping in mind that all the choices must lie within the same region.
• If you are an ex-serviceman, please provide the required details while applying online for SSC MTS.
• Provide your highest qualification details.
• Provide information regarding EWS status if applicable.
• Photo/ Signature/ Biometric Impression will be filled up automatically.
• Now click on the 'I Agree' button & submit the captcha code.
• Read all the information carefully, before you make the final submission.
• Now submit the Application form.
• Pay the application fee, if you are not exempted.
• Choose the mode of payment (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card) to pay the application fee.
• You can also pay through Challan, for that you need to opt for that & a challan will be generated.
• You have to pay the SSC MTS application fee at SBI branches & it will get updated within 2-3 days.
• Your SSC MTS Application Form 2023 has been submitted successfully.
• Take a printout of your application form for future reference.

Important Points to Keep in Mind 

• Keep your name, DOB and other relevant information as per your matriculation certificate.
• Never use any Prefix before names, like Mrs., Ms., Shri/Shrimati etc.
• Select your post preferences according to the data given in the official document.
• Choose DOB from the drop-down menu.
• Make sure you have updated the Adhaar card and other vital information so that it doesn't contain any wrong information.
• Make sure whatever personal information you are providing, you should have a valid certificate regarding that for example, your matriculation certificate, caste certificate and other things.
• Make sure you are following every guideline provided in the official notification. Always, read the official notification first and then start filling out the application procedure.
• Always note down your Login Credentials so that you can log in, in case you forget your credentials.

What if you forget your password?

In case you forget your password, follow the given steps,

Step 1: Open the login window of the SSC MTS application form and click on the ‘Forgot Password’ option. Candidates can directly go to forgot password window by following this link

Step 2: On the forgot registration id/ password page, candidates need to select their permanent state from the drop-down followed by entering their registered email id or mobile number. Click on the ‘Submit’ button once done

Step 3: Candidates will receive an SMS and mail on their registered mobile number and email id. Click on the link received to reset your password

Nature of Job of SSC MTS

Following responsibilities & duties are comes under the SSC MTS Jobs:

• Physical maintenance of records of a section.
• General cleanliness & upkeep of the Section/Unit.
• Carrying of files & other papers within the building.
• Photocopying, sending of FAX, etc.
• Other non-clerical work in the Sections/Unit.
• Assisting in routine office works such as a diary, dispatch, etc. including on computer.
• Delivering of Dak (inside & outside the building)
• Opening & closing of rooms.
• Cleaning of rooms.
• The dusting of furniture etc.
• Cleaning of building, fixture, etc.
• Work-related to his ITI qualification, if it exists
