SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Eligibility 2022

Let us know about the eligibility criteria that are required to be fulfilled by the aspirants in order to appear for the upcoming SSC Junior Hindi Translator exam 2022. Check the Education qualification, age criteria and age limit and other important details 

SSC JHT Age Limit:

18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2022, i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: According to the official notification, age relaxation is provided and the criteria is as follows:

SSC JHT Qualifications 2022 (on or before 04.08.2022)

For post codes ‘A’ to ‘D’(Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments / Offices):

1. Candidates have to possess one of the following qualifications:
    
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level
     
     
2. Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

For post codes ‘E’ (Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices)

1. Candidates have to possess one of the following qualifications:
   
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
   • Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level
     
     
2. Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
