Problems Caused by Indiscriminate Use of Natural Resources
There are many problems that are being caused due to the indiscriminate use of natural resources by humans. these problems are social, economical, and also environmental. The three major issues are listed below.
- Depletion of Natural Resources – It has been one of the major issues which are affecting everyone at a global level. Natural resources such as fossil fuels will only last us a few more years. Similarly, due to human activities, there have been issues like soil erosion, deforestation, aquifer depletion, etc. which are resulting in the depletion of natural resources.
- Environmental Issues – Environmental issues have manifested themselves in the form of pollution of various kinds. Global warming is another issue that has led to drastic changes in the temperature across the globe resulting in various issues.
- Unequal Distribution of Resources – Not everyone has the same access to natural resources. Most of the resources on the Earth are concentrated in the hands of few people leading to social and economic inequality. The actions of a few individuals are having a disastrous impact on the whole population.
