SSC CPO Exam Analysis 2020 Shift 2 (24 November 2020): Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has successfully concluded the second day of SSC CPO 2020 Exam and in this post, we have provided the accurate analysis of this exam. The first shift of the second day started from 10 AM and end at 12 PM, while the second shift started from 3 PM and finished at 5 PM.

The board is conducting this examination to fulfill 1,564 vacancies of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in various departments including Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB. Every year lakhs of candidates sit for SSC CPO Exam and compete against each other to get selected as SI under Central Government.

The SSC CPO Paper 1/ Tier 1 exam is conducted in MCQ format with questions from 4 different sections as listed below:

  • English Language and Comprehension
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning

The maximum marks in Paper 1 is 200, and the candidate gets 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer.

Going by the candidates who have attempted the SSC CPO Exam conducted on November 24, 2020, in shift 2, the difficulty level was in the range of Moderate to Difficult. We have listed some important highlights as provided by the candidates:

  • As stated in the previous analysis, there is no change in the question-type as compared to the last year question papers
  • The section-wise questions were in this manner: General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness
  • As in the previous shifts, in the English section, no questions were asked from Active & Passive Voice and Indirect & Direct speech topics
  • In this shift at least 8 to 9 questions were asked from current affairs section
  • As usual, Quantitative Aptitude was calculative
  • Overall, the English section was Moderate
  • The reasoning section was a bit time-consuming but could be solved with concepts

SSC CPO 2020 Paper 1 Exam Analysis 24th November: Exam Centre Guidelines

Candidates who are going to appear in their upcoming SSC CPO Paper 1 examination must follow the below-mentioned guidelines:

  • Candidates are required to wear a mask during the examination
  • Candidates can carry their own transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), gloves & a simple transparent pen inside the exam centre
  • Candidates should have installed Aarogya Setu app on their smartphone and the app must show their risk profile for COVID-19
  • The registration of the candidate will be done with photo capture; therefore, candidates have to remove their mask only at that moment
