SSC CPO Exam Analysis 2020 Shift 2 (23 November 2020): This article is regarding the exam analysis of SSC CPO 2020 Paper 1 exam which was conducted on 2nd shift of 23rd November 2020. The exam analysis will help you to understand the exam difficulty level, question-type, weightage of different topics, and several good attempts. This will be beneficial for candidates who have appeared in the exam as they will be able to analyze their performance. Also, this article will help candidates who are going to appear in the upcoming examination as they can get a rough idea about the exam level this year.

As you are already aware, SSC board conducts SSC CPO Exam to employ candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in various departments including Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, etc. The SSC CPO Paper 1/ Tier 1 exam comprises 4 segments which are English Language and Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. The maximum marks for Paper 1 is 200 and the candidate gets 1 mark for each correct answer and negative 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Since Paper 1 is conducted in multiple shifts, therefore, marks scored in this stage will be normalized by the board. The below table highlights the exam pattern of SSC CPO Tier 1/ Paper 1 exam:

According to the candidates who have appeared in the SSC CPO Exam shift 2 held on November 23, 2020, the difficulty level was in the range of Easy to Moderate. We have gathered some important exam inputs as stated by the candidates:

  • The order of the four sections was the same as earlier in 23rd November (1st Shift) which was General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness (GA), Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
  • GA section was Easy-Moderate. Around 30 questions could be easily attempted. Some static questions were based on caves and  hills 
  • Current Affairs questions were very few and mostly based on the last 8 to 9 months (From January 2020).
  • The maths difficulty level was similar to the previous year question paper except it was a bit calculative
  • Arithmetic questions were more in comparison to the advanced part and those were of Moderate level. No questions were asked from Boat and Stream topic.
  • Algebra questions were a bit easy, could be solved by value putting.
  • Data Interpretation questions were asked in the form of a Pie chart and Bar graph 
  • Reasoning section was tricky but scoring, Circular seating arrangements were Easy to Moderate
  • In GA, questions were mostly from the static and science part. Only 3 to 4 questions appeared from recent current affairs from the month of June.
  • Reading comprehension topics- Liliput
  • The difficulty level of English subject was from Easy to Moderate
  • No questions from Active passive and indirect-direct speech were asked.
  • The Overall good attempt of SSC CPO 2020 exam stood between 150 to 170

SSC CPO 2020 Paper 1 Exam Analysis 23rd November (2nd Shift): Exam Centre Guidelines

The candidate must follow below-mentioned guidelines at the time of giving the SSC CPO Paper 1 exam:

  • Candidates are required to wear a mask during the examination
  • Candidates can carry their own transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), gloves & a simple pen inside the exam centre
  • Candidates should have installed Aarogya Setu app on their smartphone and the app must show their risk profile for COVID-19
  • The registration of the candidate will be done with photo capture; therefore, candidates have to remove their mask only at that moment
