SSC CHSL Exam Analysis 2020 All Shifts (19 October): Staff Selection Commission has successfully completed the sixth day of SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 exam through 3 different shifts which are Shift 1, Shift 2 and Shift 3, respectively. According to the candidates who had appeared in the examination, the level of the exam was Easy to Moderate for all the shifts.

Questions Asked in Quantitative Aptitude Section for SSC CHSL 19 October 2020

The difficulty level of questions asked in Quantitative Aptitude Section were of Moderate level. Here is the list of questions as per the candidates who have attempted the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam held on 19th October:

  1. How many numbers between 800 and 2000 are completely divisible by 13? 91, 92, 93, 94
  2. If x + 1/x = 8 then find x⁴ + 1/x⁴.

  6. The average score of a batsman in 20 innings is 52. And the average score of 18 innings is 50. Given that the difference of maximum and minimum runs scored is 100. Find the maximum and minimum runs scored by the batsman.
  7. In △ABC, the medians are drawn such that D,E,and F represent the midpoints of the opposite sides. G is the centroid. If the area of △BGD = 20 cm² then find the sum of areas of △AFG and △
  8. How many numbers will have the unit digit as 9 from 101 to 1000.
  9. A and B can complete a work in 12 and 18 days respectively. If they work together for 6 days and then A left. In how many days B completed the remaining work.
  10. If the circumference of a circle is equal to the circumference of the two circles of radius 20 cm and 13 cm. Then find the radius of that circle.
  11. Find the length of BC in the given figure:
  12. A shopkeeper incurs the same amount of loss when he sells at Rs.9400 as he earns the same amount of profit when he sells the article at Rs.12600. At what price should he sell the article to earn 20% profit. 
  13. If 2sinx + √3 cosx + 1 then find the minimum value of x.
  14. If a = 12.5 and b = 7.5 then find the value of (a³ + b³)/a² + b² - ab).
  15. A metallic wire in the shape of a circle of radius 28 cm is bent to form a square. Then find the difference between their areas.
  16. If x = cosecA + cosA and y = cosecA - cosA then find the value of [2/(x + y)]² + [(x - y)/2]² - 1
  17. In a right-angle △PQR, E and F are midpoints of PR and QR respectively. Then find the ratio of area of △EFR to area of △
  18. If tan(63° - θ)cot(27° + θ) + [{sec(63° - θ) + tan(27° - θ)}/{cosec(63° - θ) + cot(27° - θ)}]
  19. The marked price of an article is 20% more than the cost price. At what discount the article would be sold so that there is no profit and no loss.
  20. If x+1/x = 8, find the value of x4+1/x4
  21. A person covers two distances of 80 km and 45 km at 40km/hr and 15 km/hr respectively. Find his average speed?
  22. The list price of the article is Rs 2000. What will be the selling price of the article after three successive discounts of 10%, 20% and 30%.
  23. In a triangle ABC, side BC is extended to point x. If angle ACX = 113 and angle B is equal to half of angle A, then find the value of B.
  24. Find the value of sin60.cos30-cos60.sin30.
  25. A, B and C can complete a certain work in 10, 12 and 15 days respectively. If all work together then in how many days they will complete the work.
  26. Find the average of the first 6 multiples of 8.
  27. By selling a Heater at Rs 585 there is a loss of 10%, find the cost price of Heater.
