SSC CGL 2019 Skill Test Exam Dates Announced - Check Schedule

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 27th July 2021 released the notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2019 batch. As per the notification, skill test of CGL 2019 candidates will be held from 15th September 2021 to 16th September 2021 all across the country.
The skill test will include three different modules namely, Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), Slides Generation/ PowerPoint Presentation (in MS Powerpoint), Spreadsheet (MS Excel).

Important Pointers for DEST in SSC CGL Skill Test

For DEST, candidates will be given a master text passage of about 2000 key depressions. Candidates have to complete this test within a time frame of 15 minutes

Candidates who choose English as their typing language should select United States English as their option

Candidates must note that they can type the equivalent number of words provided in the master text passage

Alphanumeric keys combination along with space will be counted as one ‘Word’

Once the candidates have typed the given number of words in the master text passage, they will not be allowed to further type words through the space bar

After completion of the typing assignment, candidates have to take a printout of the typed text

Important Pointers for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) in SSC CGL Skill Test

The CPT consists of two modules which are creating a spreadsheet in MS Excel and creating PowerPoint in MS Powerpoint. Candidates are given 15 minutes for each module

These modules are conducted one after the other

Candidates after completion of their modules have to take a printout and write their roll number, name, exam date, and put a signature on the page
