Henceforth, to provide support to the SSC aspirants, in this post, we have stated some important points regarding similarities of SSC and DFFCIL in the terms of the selection process, eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, and how an SSC candidate can take the advantage of DFCCIL notification, as well as what are the additional topics do he/ she needs to study to excel in the DFCCIL Exam.
How SSC Aspirant Can Take the Benefit of DFCCIL Notification?
First of all, DFCCIL is an arm of Indian Railways, hence, it is a permanent government job. The salary offered to an Executive in DFCCIL is in the range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000, while for Junior Executive it is in the range of Rs 34,000 to Rs 36,000 depending upon the city of posting.
The working hours of the DFCCIL employee are mostly fixed (except for some departments such as Signal and Telecommunication, Mechanical and Civil) which is from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM for weekdays and 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM for alternate Saturdays. Hence, if a candidate aims to prepare for other exams such as SSC CGL or SSC CPO or UPSC then he/ she will get ample time to study provided he/ she uses the remaining time effectively.
Furthermore, the best part about the DFCCIL Exam is that you will get your joining within 6 to 9 months from the date of notification to the completion of the last stage of the exam which is Document Verification (DV). However, there might be a delay this year due to the prevailing situation of COVID-19.
